The FalconX is a radically new digital signal processor that employs the patented SITORO^® algorithms to achieve unprecedented throughput at high count rates.  For example, the FalconX can operate at 1Mcps with only 12% dead-time.  Applications include high rate synchrotron X-ray analysis, such as XAFS, and high rate XRF.
