DXP Driver Libraries: Handel

Handel is a high-level device driver that provides an interface to the DXP hardware in spectroscopic units (eV, microseconds, etc...) while still allowing for safe, direct-access to the DSP. Additionally, Handel only requires a single configuration file in order to start the system. The trade-off for this ease of use is an increase in size. At a minimum, Handel requires 5 libraries to operate with a single product, while Xerxes only requires 3. For more information, please consult the Handel API or contact us at .

Handel SCA application note

Describes for Handel users how SCAs are implemented in the DXP, and is provided with sample code (ZIP archive, 2KB, 12/18/2003) to help getting started using SCAs. SCAs are only supported Handel release 0.4.1 and firmware release 1.08 and later. Please first download and install the latest firmware release appropriate to your DXP product and detector/preamplifier.
